We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has made it possible for us to run Ishtar as a fuel boat this winter.The hard work and dedication of volunteers from the community has made this project such a huge success, bringing affordable fuel to Boaters in the coldest months. The Bradford Wharf Services and Floaty Boat teams have worked so hard to deliver this project, despite the tireless work it has also been a lot of fun!Thanks to all those who helped us load Ishtar, helmed the boat, helped with admin and the website, drove people around, helped with the locks, broke the ice, bagged the logs, you know who you are!Also thanks to Adverset and John Easby for our amazing signs and The Boatyard for letting us load up there.Though we aren’t doing any more runs we still have some fuel left over to sell. This is at Bradford Wharf and is collection only. Pop down if you would like to buy some. This project was a one-off this winter to tide people over while there was no coal boat. We do not have the time to run Ishtar as a coal boat permanently.It is a great opportunity for someone to take on, we are happy to discuss loaning the boat to someone to set up their own business.Please can anyone with outstanding invoices settle up asap. It looks like there are still some payments due.
