Situated in Bradford-on-Avon, on the western end of the Kennet and Avon canal, our friendly and experienced team offer all boat services at affordable prices, to keep you afloat in style and comfort.
Our recently restored and covered dry dock can accommodate boats up to 72′ long and 14′ wide. The services we offer include docking, either DIY or we’ll do the dirty work, welding and fabrication, including but not limited to; cabin builds, stretching, wheelhouses, hatches, windows and pigeon boxes. We also offer craft blacksmithery, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics and excellent tea.
We offer an emergency service and tug boat services or hire. We can tow your boat to dock if you need emergency repairs, we can bring pumps if you are sinking.
We offer quick ‘up and down’ for boat surveys and can give advice on boat purchases and recommend surveyors and BSS inspectors.
We have industrial quality heavy equipment for use in the dock at extra cost, scabblers, eco-friendly shot blasting, welding equipment and keep comprehensive stocks of supplies for boat maintenance.
During our 3 month winter dock closure we can crane boats onto our yard to be worked on or just stored.

How to find us
From the canal: We are immediately above Bradford Lock no 15 on the right. If coming up you can wind to the left of the dock to be in the right position.
By road: From the centre of Bradford, take the Frome Road until the canal bridge, the entrance to the yard is immediately on the left. From Frome, we are 300 yards past the Elms Cross Roundabout. From Trowbridge, turn left at the canal bridge on the Trowbridge Road, go all the way to Elms Cross Roundabout, turn right and we are 300 yards on the right, immediately before the canal bridge.
It's a bit of a blind entrance so be careful when coming out or turning in from the opposite direction.
